The 5th International Anaesthetist Conference of the Baltic Region was held in Palanga last weekend. The event was attended by over 200 medical doctorsfrom across the Baltic states. The attendees had a chance not only to have theoretical lectures, but also to take part in workshops/practical training.
This two-day conference was also attended by the representatives of Kaunas ECHO, the Ultrasound School established in Kaunas back in 2012. Since 2015, the Anaesthetist Conference of the Baltic Region has attracted increasing numbers of attendees because of its focus on workshops during which practitioners receive concise and relevant information.
The event saw the presentations of the most recent aspects of anaesthesiology in the Baltic region along with the innovations in the ultrasonic diagnostics. On the first day, experienced lectures introduced the attendees to the capabilities of the ultrasonic systems in diagnosing injuries, sepsis and other diseases. The second day was rather dedicated to the innovations in the fieldof anaesthesiology.
Our company Graina introduced 2 models of patient monitors to the medical doctors. One of them is the Mindray N1 transport monitor. It is a remarkably small palm-sized and user-friendly monitor. The module has long battery life. For this reason, it is an excellent device for ambulance, air ambulance and civil aviation industries. Mindray N1 has been designed both to record the patient’s condition independently and to operate as a multi-parameter module as part of another monitor of the patient. More information about the product is available at split.the/GZI6VFZ.
During the conference, all those who were interested had also a presentation of the Mindray N series devices, which are modular patient monitors of the PREMIUM segment. These monitors stand out for their high-definition screens, accuracy of the parameters that they record and user-friendliness. They can be used on the neonatal/infant intensive care ward, in cardiology and for the patients who need continuous monitoring during transportation. Practitioners and medical staff from a variety of countries worldwide already appreciate the Mindray N series patient monitors for being particularly user-friendly thanks to their integrated functional and stable central monitoring station software.
Other ultrasonic devices by Mindray also received the doctors’ attention, like Mindray TE-7 with its iNeedle feature, to name but one. The latter is auxiliary software highlighting the contours of the needle in ultrasonic view. This feature particularly helps doctors do their job when carrying out intervention procedures subject to ultrasound control. The introduction of state-of-the-art medical technologies in the practice of medical doctors not only boosts efficiency, but also improves the quality of the patient service.
