On 14 June, representatives of Graina UAB took part in a meeting of the Latvian Ultrasound Association. Jointly with Assoc. Prof. Maijs Radziņs, new elastography, breast diagnostics and ultrasound technologies were presented at the meeting.
Graina UAB as a company working in the field of medical technologies seeks to maintain close cooperation with medics. Specialists should both know the main functions of devices and be able to use ancillary programs that enable an in-depth analysis of data. Elastography can be cited as an example. It provides additional means for a doctor to verify that the diagnosis is accurate. Mindray offers a wide range of ultrasound systems, and elastography is one of the choices that enables an automatic analysis of the data obtained. The integrated system shortens the time of the examination without compromising quality.
Cooperation between Graina’s Latvian branch and the Latvian Ultrasound Association is being developed further. A joint conference ‘Elastographic Tests’ with a participation from a lecturer from the USA is scheduled for 8 October this year.
